Can someone explain limiting reagents?

This is pretty simple and as I go through my second time of content review and starting to take practice exams I still haven't grasped how to find the limiting reagent. I know its just a matter of a simple process but I just can't put it together. I looked in BR and there are two problems discussing it and that's it. I just want to know how to find the limiting reagent.

It's about mole ratios. You have to find out how many moles of each reagent you need to complete the reaction. Then you compare that to how many moles of each reagent you have. Often times this requires conversions from grams to moles. The one that will run out first is the limiting reagent. Try looking in your textbook to find more specific examples. The best thing is to do practice problems. 🙂
