Hey guys
Been researching the top resources for Step 2, and I keep hearing about MKSAP.
Did a little reading but couldn't find specifics on the website.
Am I correct when I say: MKSAP is a set of review books for each of the main specialties (ie IM/Surg/Peds) and included in the books are sets of questions specific to that specialty (and these questions are very good apparently for shelves)?
If I am wrong, can anyone steer me in the right direction?
Furthermore: As I consider this resource, I currently own a Kaplan Step 2 set, USMLE Step 2 secrets, FA CK/CS, and MTB IM (2nd ed). I have not started rotations yet, but just building my collection of texts to use as I go through rotations and as Step 2 approaches I will narrow down which ones I found most effective. Given what I already own, would MKSAP be a worthy addition to the collection or is my current set of books satisfactory in that MKSAP wont contribute much?
Thanks!
