Well, I think I'm right...I don't find it too short but to each his own. I personally would write more as I write fast and develop ideas fast too but this is not bad length.

I think it is too short as well. At first glance without reading it it seemed ok, but maybe it's the font size, it was actually short.
Anyway, I would give them about an L~ N.
Sentences were pretty clear, and you did fulfill all the tasks, but the examples used were pretty unconvincing or seemed unrelated. Sentences lacked depth and ideas were not developed.
In the first essay's examples were actually comparing a novelist to a statistician, which probably was not what the question was asking. The focus should be more on why historians are not able to be objective when recording history. But I think the approach you took on this makes some sense, so I would give this one more points than the second one.
The second essay's examples were, in general, not really convincing. I'm not sure if those would be the best examples, and the conclusion seemed pretty confusing also. But I think this was a difficult topic, so, understandably, you might have had a harder time figuring out how to approach it. Anyway, this one I would say is not as good as the first one, and probably will bring down the grade a bit.
