I've been searching for the average time one should allot to do each passage for each section of the MCAT, but I can't seem to find it. Please help redirect me, thanks!

Also I've been looking for the writing sample practice thread and I can't seem to find it either :/ eep!

Thanks.

Timing:

- ALWAYS complete your practice problems under TIMED conditions
- For BR passages: 6-7 minutes per passage, work towards 6 minutes
- For the EK 30-minute exams….well 30 minutes
- EK 1001, except Bio series: 30 seconds to 1 minute per question
- EK Verbal 101/TPR Verbal: 6-7 minutes per passage, work towards 6 minutes
- AAMC FLs: Use their timing

In general, aim for 6 minutes per passage.

Not sure about the writing sample practice thread, but you can find prompts on AAMC's website.

Thanks SN2ed for being so on top of everything and giving of your time. If it's okay, I'd like to suggest that for BR passages people take a (2 + # questions) minutes per passage. For a 5-question passage, that's seven minutes, a 6-question passage in eight minutes, and so on. That's what they suggest in their classroom course.
