Can we send transcript now before AMCAS?

I'm still working on AMCAS, but I was wondering if I can send in the transcript right now, before I submit the AMCAS. Will they hold on to my transcript?

Wish I had asked someone this back when I was filling out AMCAS (and waited until I was done to send in my transcript).

Yes, as of cinco del mayo you can submit transcripts:

Be sure to use the AMCAS Transcript Request form when sending them in. I ran into problems with not using the form and sending in transcripts too early last year, but was fortunately saved by the grace of one very nice woman at AMCAS.

I highly recommend doing that. As well as submitting AMCAS as soon as it becomes available.

also, there was one portion of the transcript request form that I had highlighted. I cant remember what part but i think it told us to bring it to the transcript office's attention. just get them in because at least this way you can continue to work on ur application and know that ur transcripts have been received by them.

It's in the AMCAS application under "Transcript Requests". You'll have to fill out other sections before you can access the transcript requests.
