Can you get in w/ lower stats if you apply earlier?

lets say if you apply late among students that have high stats applying at the same time as you.
Who do you think dental schools will pick to fill up last few seats?
I think the answer should be obvious, they will not pick you.

Go back to my post and read it and stop being such an ass. People on here think your a douche so its not me. I said I couldn't get in because of my average gpa and I have asked people about it and they said being Asian with an ok gpa is disadvantage. So I took it to heart and it made sense. But you come in being an ass about it instead of saying encouraging and uplifting things. I mean we are all here as people with one goal to help and support each other and not troll like you do and its obvious that people dislike you.

These are just our opinions and we are entitled to them. No need to get angry and defensive... unless it's true 🙂

Did i fail at anything? Do you even know me? I guess you must be an expert at knowing the kinds of people who "blame" their "failures" for being Asian. Your comprehension is horrible. Please try to understand that saying, " Yeah I have an average GPA, and dental schools do fill up race quotas ( or so im told), so would it be tough for me if I had that GPA going up against smarter asians?", does not mean OMG I suck at life its because Im Asian. It doesn't make sense.

No ill agree with you that I shouldnt worry about my asianess when dealing with application, i have forgot that now. I just dont agree you going around talking down to people who dont know.

1. Growing up won't help the fact that he/she is Asian with average stats. I wouldn't say he/she is being a wimp, more so just trying to cope with reality.

2. Who cares if people think you're a douche on the internet. Everyone has their own well-known online personality: Doc_Toothache is the condescending poster, Oracle is the dental profession advisor, DrReo is the admissions expert, and you just happen to be the people's choice for "resident as*hole" ..so pick up your big-boy pants, stop being defensive, and own your d-bag attitude.

I lived in Canada for a couple of years...it wasn't that cool. The people are nice though. 👍
