basically the title,
I know for MD schools it will make re application almost impossible, i was wondering if its the same with DO

From an MD or DO program? Context?
lets say i apply to a bunch of DO schools, i get an acceptance, then i reject them and I dont go to DO.

will this have a significant impact on me if i wanted to re apply to DO schools the next cycle

why would you apply to a school if you didn't have the intention of attending it?

Agrees with @Goro: you can't apply to the school you turned down an offer. And as asked before, if it were the only offer you received, why would you turn it down? Sure, there are always good reasons to turn down an offer, but no one enjoys being a re/applicant. None of the other schools will care, though some might wonder why you are still on the market... but, most DO programs won't care.

Havil, have you done something against your best interests, or are just continually asking insipid questions as FYI?
i wanna prevent myself from doing something that i will regret.

Trust me, i am not asking questions for the sake of asking lol

Sure but remember that with AI getting better and better, it behooves you to try to become an attending and bank as much money as possible as early as possible

Why is it so hard for some people to understand that you shouldn't apply to schools you aren't really willing to attend? It's like there's a group of people who just want to collect acceptances for ego, yet feel too good to attend some of these schools

There's always that group that sees med school admissions as an affirmation of one's importance. Where you get offers and how many are worth playing the game. YMMV.
