can you update your transcript *before* submission?

amcas has already received my transcript. however, my spring grades have posted a lot earlier than i expected and i would like them to be included on my app. can i just request another transcript to be sent to amcas? i've looked online but i only see situations involving updating transcripts after app submission/verification.

Submit a second official transcript, then email AMCAS to let them know that an updated version has been sent. Be sure to fill in those new grades on the application's transcript before you submit.
