Hi,
Could anyone please tell me how to get a license to practice in canada after graduating from a US dental school.
Is there just a general exam for the whole of canada .or is there provincial exams too ..... What study materials do u use .. Is it just the US queston papers or is there any particular book/ materials to prepare for these exams.

Thnx..
One of my friends will be graduating from NYU soon & wants to practice in Canada...
Hope someone will be able to help...

Here are some sites you might want to take a look at if you're considering practicing in Canada. Contact the licensing body in the province you're planning to practice in.

I am taking the Canadian Licensure exam in March and I heard most people study from dental decks part 2 and the book dental secrets.

I just took part 2 for the US and there are quite a bit of decks but the info is good.

Good luck,

Thanks big_poppa ! Do u know anything abt exams in ontario , I've heard that they dont have any particular provincial exam, other than the courses that u are suposed to take (abt law).

I heard that you need to take an ontario jurisprudence course, I think its 2 days. If its like the states its no big deal and the exam is open book.
