CAP junior member committee positions

Anyone know how competitive these spots are? I'm thinking about applying for this round to introduce myself to people in the fellowship I want. I'm a first year resident with a rather light CV though.

It helps to "know someone who knows someone". Many residents apply every year, and they often take more senior residents. But, if you're interested I encourage you to apply and get your name under consideration. Just understand you may have to apply several times.

I would say still apply b/c you never know. I did as a first year and got a position (but as a disclaimer, my CV tends to be more on the stacked side esp in the skills/areas they specifically were looking for though).
