That is so wrong. Doctor written twice to enforce the lie.

I had a patient complain to me some time ago how her "doctor" was a nurse. I laughed and cried internally at the same time. The title in and out of itself is ridiculous. "Doctor nurse" - the only thing that creates is confusion. Not a doctor. Still just a nurse. The only way to be a doctor is to go to medical school. Nursing school = nurse.

I actually consider myself The Pope of medicine

Literally no actual clinical component to the DNP degree at any institution. Ridiculous.

More infuriating was the other post talking about how "NPs do the same job as doctors but only get paid 50% of doctors." Equal pay for equal work. Really?! That would be a great gig - where do I sign up? Getting physician salaries with nursing level education! NP have to be a nurse, and then what 2 years of practical/educational component? and somehow that makes them a doctor? Clearly when people make statements like the above, it just leads to frustration. I say want physician salaries, go to medical school.

Suits and bold claims IMO.

I think DNPs will be real disappointed when equal pay means everyone gets a nurses salary...lol. The sad part is they think they’re going somewhere special.

On weekends I like to stick my finger in this unsafe triangle

How can people practice with only a weekend course? Set up shop on your own? With insurances dropping reimbursements, I am not sure how that's happening.

That would be terrifying. Yep, I saw one procedure, now I can do it on my own! Not!

"Listen pal, if you don't stop sticking your finger in here the gold level designation is out of the question".

Finally, my big break in showbiz

See I didn't have to go to Med school after all, Just one weekend course and I get to play Doctor

Good Thing we have ultrasound, otherwise we would have never been able to treat baby Yoda's facet joints
