For alkene reactions where carbocation rearrangement is possible...

2 scenarios can happen? A neighboring methyl can shift or a neighboring H can shift to leave the + charge on the more substituted (thus more stable) position?

Hope that made sense... thanks guys
 
From what I understand, carbocation rearrangement can occur in the occasions where there is an group that is more substituted.
