Carbohydrates?

Carbohydrates aren't on the DAT right?

I'm using the Kaplan bb to review for ochem and the DAT destroyer...both of which have carbohydrates in thier material. Should I even review carbs, since they're not on the DAT?

I thought I read somewhere on here that they're not on the exam so I just wanted to make sure. (ya know, I don't want to waste any study time and learn info that I dont need to know) thank guys!

Take a look at this http://www.ada.org/sections/educationAndCareers/pdfs/dat_users_manual.pdf. It has the outline for o-chem on pg 43. It does not appear to be directly on there but I would have a basic knowledge of the subject. If you miss 2-3 questions your score will be down in the lower 20s (roughly). Who knows one of the questions you could miss may pertain to this section....If you have the time i would review it.👍

Anyone know where online I can get the basics of what to know? I feel like chad kinda flew through it and theres more I should know.

(Im getting a few q's wrong on destroyer pertaining to glucose sucrose etc.)
