Cardiology Fellowship?

Here's a question for those planning on cardiology:

How difficult is it to obtain a cardiovascular disease fellowship after residency (coming from a top IM residency such as MGH, JHU or Penn?) Does anyone out there have the numbers on how many apply and how many match?

Also- what can one do in order to increase their odds of matching?
