hello, i just finished undergrad with no science this spring at ucla.

volunteered full time at a dental clinic the whole summer, and now back at home during fall.

i kind of decided last minute now but i know health field is what i want. i wasn't able to apply in time for other schools but I was able to enroll at a local CC in physics 2a THIS fall which already started and i'm swimming by this class very easily
I've been hearing bad news about taking courses at cc. should i have waited next cycle for a "better" school to enroll for post-bacc/courses. should i start winter if i get in elsewhere or just finish the physics series all the way through at this cc (only 2 courses after this - so i'll be done spring)?

any help would help thanks

If you're this far into the course, I'd finish it and apply for post baccs. A post bacc gives you a chance to show you can handle the sciences, as well as get your pre-reqs.

thanks. would you say to finish physics 2b and 2c at the CC or to try to get into post-bacc asap and finish it there?

You will probably be fine finishing the physics requirements at the CC but given that you already have a degree, I would not take any more of the pre-reqs at a CC. First, some schools flat out won't accept CC credits, other schools will take the credits ONLY if you have upper level classes from a 4 year college to back up those earlier classes. Your life will be much easier in the long run to just take the rest of your pre-reqs at a 4 year school. You may or may not need to do a formal post-bacc, you might just be able to take the few classes you need. I would start by calling UCLA and see what their policy is on taking those classes. You might have an easier go at getting into the needed classes at a smaller school however.
