Carribean school and residency?? PLEASE HELP

I know that people who go to the Caribbeans have problems finding residencies.If i go to the Caribbeans. i wanna specialize in Obstetrician-Gynecologist? is it competitive??

It's fairly competitive but it's been declining recently. Caribbean students can succeed in achieving residency in competitive specialities, though.

OB-GYN is harder to get than internal medicine but much easier to get than Surgery. From what I heard it's easier to get OB-GYN if you're male. the place i did my core rotation said they'll interveiw all male applicants.
