I know this may sound silly, but has anyone taken notice at the top right corner of the CAS cover sheet (the form that you get in the mail once a program has received your application)? Under the program number there's a single digit number. Beneath that there's a batch number. Does anyone have an idea as to what the the middle number means? It would be interesting to know if this serves as a sort of a triage number that CAS puts together for the programs based on guidelines the programs give to CAS.
