* both OOS

-- You can add a poll if you would like to --

Post:
School 1: Case Western Reserve University

Pros:
  • 10k less
  • 4 years in one place
  • Brand New facilities and SIM lab
  • In house residencies
  • partially pass fail, partially graded
  • no issue getting patients
  • desireable city living
  • has a repuation for good clinical experience
Cons:
  • has negative admin reviews online
  • farther from home , COLDER
  • not too many students who are parents here
School 2: ATSU MOSDOH
Pros:
  • Decent admin, very welcoming
  • lots of student run clubs and divsersity
  • Good amount of student parents- indicating better ability of success
  • Seems safer - less crime
  • advocates for the underserved ALOT
  • whole body healthcare/holistic
Cons:
  • graded
  • have to move after 2 years
  • external rotations
  • no inhouse residencies
Summary: I had fully commmitted to MOSDOH because I like the atmosphere. However, I do not like the small town, having to move, or the all graded dynamic. They accepted me on Decision day, which was a great feeling. Case Western accepted me April 30. I know I don't owe these school any loyalty, but my conscience feels grateful for having been picked at all. I consider myself a city girl at heart want the best clinic experience. Not having the opportunity to shadow residencys in house seems like a major drawback. I also have a spouse and toddler. Which puts more pressure on me to make the right descision. Please help!

which one has a higher total cost of attendance?

Both are practically the same with additional fees. MOSDOH is 10k more
per year?
or for 4 years?

which one is closer to where you want to practice in the future?
which one is closer to friends/family?
