Should you apply to schools like NYU, Tufts, etc. that don't accept CC prereq units?
I have almost taken 85% of my prereqs at a CC, and I my stats are pretty competitive for some of these schools. I would really appreciate any suggestions.

I know for a fact that Boston University is a CC unit unfriendly school. They don't want any prerequisites taken from a community college. However, they do NOT want you to retake any of those pre-reg at a university either. What they want to see is that you have enrolled in and completed upper level science courses at a university to make up for those pre-req's. So I would say go ahead and apply if you have upper level courses at a university under your bell.

NYU does accept CC units as long as they come from an accredited college or university.

I sent an email to one of the NYU reps and he said that as long as you complete some upper level science at a 4 year then you'll be fine.
