would someone kindly state the date of the rej. letter and when it was postmarked? I checked mail today but didn't get anything...
seriously, anyone here got in? 😕
 
I received my rejection letter today 👎 I interviewed in November and was put on hold in Dec. The rejection letter was dated May 1 2007. CCLCM would have been nice, but I guess it's not meant for me to go there. I look at it this way: for those of us that interviewed and that were put on hold, we must have excellent credentials. And when CCLCM becomes the next Mayo or even better, we could always say that we interviewed there. Good luck to everyone else.
 
Oh yea, the letter was post-marked May 3rd.
 
So has anyone received an acceptance off the waitlist yet?

Also, has anyone called to determine if they are sending the rejection letters out as they make decisions or if they already made all the decisions and sent the letters at the same time?
 
An email was sent out yesterday addressed to the class of 2012. There were 32 individuals on the email list.

It seems the class has already been filled, at least for now. I would expect this to change shortly after May 15th. Good luck with your applications!
 
rejected as well. no surprise though... It was probably not a good indication that the class was already full by the time I interviewed. Oh well, best of luck to the rest of you wherever you end up in this crazy process!

I'm in Maryland and haven't heard anything yet. Nothing in the mail today.
 
I am on the west coast and got mine yesterday. Maybe you guys are on the waitlist? I would call the office tomorrow.... they can probably tell you something over the phone.

Thank you all for posting their geographic locations. I called today but the lady in charge of this is out for the week. So unless we get the letter in the next few days, we'll have to wait.
 
Any new news today?

By the way I am near Cleveland and still have not received anything?

I'm in the northeast and also have yet to hear anything from Cleveland Clinic beyond the initial hold letter in April.

maybe your on the hold list still, they have some alternatives still picked out

Morning guys,
I just called cc and the lady who talked to me was very nice. From what I gathered, there has already been a round of rejections and she told me it's a "good sign" and that my applications is still "actively reviewed by the dean." For those of us who are still alive, we should know by the end of the month.

I called and heard the same thing, and there are DEFINITELY spots available too, so it's not too late for those of us (incl. me) who are still hoping.
 
Dean Franco just called me.. I'm in!!!!
 
Any idea how many people are still out there in limbo?
 
wow good job KaraKiz. Didn't think they were going to start moving it. Anyone else get in? Know how many spots available, etc? I'm really getting nervous now that they've started accepting!
 
I know of at least two more people that are not going to CCLCM but were at the second look. Seems like spots are opening up

hey everyone.. it was a hard decision to make, but I withdrew my CCLCM acceptance today. I've decided its just not the program for me. So someone on the WL should be hearing good news soon!! GL to everyone waiting!! :luck: :luck: :luck:

I got a call from Dean Franco on Friday (during Shrek 3 of all things). When I called her back she said she was tidying up the hold list and asked if I still wanted to remain on it.

That's strange, either they really want you or their waitlist is quite small. I certainly didn't receive anything. Anybody know if the list is still moving? Anyone get in? any more news?

Lol. Not as funny as the first or second ones. However, it was still really cute (more of a girly-esque movie with a slower plot than the other two)! I'd say it's a definite video rental pick, but I'm not sure I would rush out to see if if I was super busy.

last time i called they said they'd be making up an alternate list around the 15th of this month. this seemed like it didn't make sense, but that's what I was told. Orientation starts in just over a month! but i do believe there will eventually be some more movement.
