Bleh, I want an interview! Keep getting interviews from all the other DO schools, but no love from my home state DO school...

meaning... they are mailing the decisions??? as in the decisions have already been made??!?!?!? :scared::scared::scared:
 
They have to go through a lot of files. I'm scared!

Not sure how in sync they are, but my Interact Now account hasn't changed for AZCOM yet.

Their adcom met on a Tuesday and I called on a Wednesday. Not sure what CCOM will do; their Admissions phone message says they don't do status checks on the phone, so who knows...
 
It was a couple of weeks before my interact now changed. They won't tell you if you call them, but they do call some people after the adcom meets to tell them they are accepted, and then they don't call others. Not really sure why they did this, but they did.

so i thought id be annoying to and call them too... cuz i realllly wanna know!! But they said they think adcom is meeting "next week" i see a pattern here. Either way she said she thinks well hear back by the end of the month. 😎
 
Hey guys! I just found this thread and I thought I would add what CCOM told me when I called. The woman said the adcom would meet LATER this week and the dean of admissions had to sign off on ALL acceptances so none of the decisions will be mailed until middle of next week at the EARLIEST. Bummer right? I've been obsessive about checking my mail and now I have to wait another week and a half!
 
Very interesting. So far, on SDN, the adcom is meeting for the first time both this week and next week, and will notify us before Monday and next week at the earliest.
 
My Interact Now account just changed to this:

You will also be able to check the status of your matriculation documents, including technical standards, transcripts, and prerequisites. You can also begin the financial aid application process and access various forms and documents required by our Office of Student Services.

I'm sure it's just from AZCOM, but I can't see anything about CCOM now, though, so *shrug*. Took about 3 business days to change.
 
Zip, do you know what your login name is. Is it the same as interact now. I noticed the same message (assuming for AZCOM) as well.

I have no idea. It's not the same as Interact Now. The site says they'll send you a username/password in the mail. I'm looking forward to getting home. I want that packet!

I think it's AZCOM. We interviewed the same day at CCOM and my interact now hasn't changed for the better or worse.
 
Go to your interact now accounts on Midwestern to check! I got into AZCOM and i'm waiting for CCOM now. Good luck everyone!

I hope you are right megboo! I want to hear something by this week! We must be talking to people who are getting their wires crossed.
 
I just called CCOM and the lady in the admissions office told me that I will hear back something in a week and a half and that the admissions committee had not met yet. This is taking longer than I thought.
 
The adcom met today...Calls will probably start going out tomorrow. Good Luck All!

With all due respect, you all need to quit calling the Admissions Office. 😉 Each time someone does, we get an entirely different answer. As much as it sucks, we should just try to relax. With a little luck, mdille2's information is legit. 😀

I am a current student, so I did not call admissions...I spoke to someone for you guys, I assure my source is solid. LOL, sorry to add to confusion, I just wanted to give you all good info.

Is CCOM your top choice Zip?
 
Don't have a top choice at the moment. Loved AZCOM, CCOM is closer and would be so much more convenient, and I have U of I coming up. We'll see what happens. Congrats on all of your success, Jpc!

I would be proud too! I would give you a cookie, but it would probably melt in the mail before it got there.

I don't remember them saying acceptances were via phone call....not that I'm complaining 😀

I'm proud of you too! I wanted to call SO bad yesterday but I didn't either! Yeah for self-control!!
 
Don't get your hopes up too much! They may not call people. I don't remember them mentioning they would call or anyhting like that.

True that. We're just going off of what people said from last year's class. Seems hit or miss. Good luck just the same!

I don't remember that either but my phone is glued to my hip anyway!! 😀

same here. And they don't call everyone... of the 2 med students I ate lunch with, one got called and one didn't. But just in case, my cell is on.

Good luck meg! If anyone deserves CCOM, it is you.

The school was great, but that 42,000 tuition is a bit scary to me -- but then again they have some great clinical rotations b/c of where they are....tough call.
 
My phone will be glued to me as well, but i bet they wont call and im just gonna be more nervous!!!!!! this is too stressful! :scared:
