And maybe the dean will sign off on the acceptances!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡

Let me preface this by saying I know nothing at all about CCOM's process.

However, when I called other schools for information, they were very helpful and forthcoming. And, I didn't even have a great reason, like waiting to make travel plans.

I really think that if you called and explained your situation, they might tell you something. That really is a special circumstance, and I'm sure it couldn't hurt to let it drop that CCOM is your #1 choice, just in case they are still making last minute adjustments. 😉

I would think that if Jpc and I can see our matriculation agreements online, that the Dean must have signed off already. *shrug* Very puzzling timing, indeed.
 
You can only see it if you can access the site if you have received an acceptance packet from AZ-COM because they give you your login info.

Will you still be able to get competitive prices on flights if you wait until Thursday to book? You know, some websites offer lower prices for last minute flights, like Priceline.com. I haven't ever used that site, but I have heard good things about it. You might try sidestep.com; my brother travels frequently and he told me he gets pretty good rates there.

Hopefully, this will all be moot anyway after Thursday...
 
As of now there are seats available and I've been pretty lucky in the past with Priceline. Worst case scenario is I take a 12-hour drive. 😱

But still, it would be nice to have enough time to decide!!!

I am kinda in the same situation as you. I delayed my interview at DMU from October 5th to November 9 just so that I could hear back something from CCOM. CCOM is my first choice, so I hope we get something on Thursday.
 
i almost wish i applied to azcom just so i could get the news alreaady! haha Im assuming all the obsessed ppl on this thread have ccom as their # 1?? At least we should all know by the end of the week... then maybe ill stop checking this site, my mail, email, and phone every 15 mins. cant wait
 
Can't you guys check your Interact Now account? On the top right, it should have a button for "accepted student checklist" or something of that nature. If you didn't interview at AZCOM, it is safe to assume you got into CCOM.

However, it is possible the interact now and the website it takes you to are on different systems and the interact now is not updated whereas the other one is. So if you don't have the Interact Now updated don't worry!!!

Man the dean hasn't signed the acceptances and the letters haven't even mailed yet. This is crazy.... THe lady even told me that status checks will not be allowed over the phone. 🙁
 
how long after you guys were complete did you get an interview..i've been complete now for about 2 weeks and i really want an interview!

well all of us that are looking for acceptances applied really really early... I got an invite ~3-4 weeks post secondary but that was in july. They are probably alot more busier now with interviews, admission desicions, ect. or they may meet more regularly now that the cycle is in full swing to give interview invites... no one really knows, but if you really wanna know maybe you can pm someone who recently got an invite (check the official invite thread)

ive been complete over a month, and from what i was told, all of those who applied in the first cycle, will hear back by november 15th.just got the email today.
 
I've been complete since Mid-July and have yet to hear back from them, when I call them, they just tell me to wait. It's just frustrating because I've been to other interviews and already have been accepted, but no love from CCOM.......

They just told me to call back in 2-3 days and theyll tell me over the phone! ugh..
 
doesnt help that i need to buy tix for another upcoming interview soon... Tryin to save money here but im waiting on CCOM.. 😎

to those who already got accepted, when did you guys interview? i interviewed on 9/24 (they told us we were the second group to interview for this cycle) and still haven't received a word from them yet. 🙁 i really want to go to this school!!

9/26... but seriously don't be bummed out. The last few years ccom has called 'a handfull' of people who were accepted but didn't call others for some reason. Out of the 2 med students I had lunch with, 1 got a call and 1 didn't. We should all be getting something in the mail so you'll find out for better or worse soon enough. Couldn't hurt to try and call anyway. Good luck, :luck:hang in there 👍

Congrats on your acceptances, everyone. I'm an MSI at CCOM. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the school or anything else med-school related. For those of you with multiple acceptances, I know picking a school can be tough...I'd be happy to provide the inside scoop on CCOM.

Official letters were sent out Tuesday morning, so you should be getting something in teh mail tomorrow.

lol, before you hang yourself... wait for the letter.... they DON'T call everyone. I think this is really cruel, at least for the SDNers who know when everyone else is finding out.... but it just means you gotta wait a lil bit for the mail... Sorry you didn't get a call 🙁 but seriously dont lose hope👍

yea umes, and prob. a few others... but like i told him: Out of the 2 med students I had lunch with, only one got a call and one just got a letter. For some reason they don't call everyone
 
thats just mean! THey shouldnt call some ppl! It jsut seems like so many ppl here got calls it just sounds like bad news. I just want the morning to come so i can call them. Im honestly devastated right now. :scared:
