    Hey everybody,

I will start CCOM this fall and I was wondering what some of you are doing about health and disability insurance. I understand that the school has an agreement with Aetna but I have not received any info about it, and I have been unable to reach anyone in the office of Student Services. Are most of you just going to go with the school's policy, or will you keep what you have? I know that there will be an insurance rep at orientation, but I wonder if that would be too late to just sign up there, since they haven't sent out any preliminary info. For those of you that are already at CCOM how do you feel of the school's policy?

Thanks for any information. I would really appreciate it.

Hi, I'm also going to start CCOM. I wouldn't worry about the health insurance yet. I was at the school a couple weeks ago, and talked to Student Services. They said they are still finalizing our plan--that's why they haven't been able to send us anything yet. They did say that the plan starts on September 1st--even though we haven't signed anything yet. I know Aetna is a very respectable insurance company. If it doesn't fit your needs, you can always change to a different provider later on.
