Can anyone help me with the certificate of good moral character? My school, in the US, is unable to provide me such a letter without a pre-made form from the Universities I am applying to - UST and UERMM. Does anyone know where I can get such a form?

Relax. Just get anybody from your school (who likes you!!!) to write a short letter saying that you are a nice hard-working fellow who will do well in medical school.

If the person you ask can't or won't do that (on school letter head with a nice envelope), just move on and ask someone else.

Ask professors of classes in which you excelled, or department chairs....etc. Don't ask your probation officer. Get the idea?

It's not as complicated as it sounds in the application form, and no "special" form is needed.

Cool...thanks for the info. I wasn't sure how strict the requirements were about getting one from the academic dean, dean of students...I've got three letters from my professors, so i think i should be fine.

if you sent 3 letters from your professors, that's ok. i sent 4 letters to UST actually because 1 of the 3 letters i originally sent was sent by mistake (it came from our guidance office) so that's why i followed-up the letter from the student affairs to UST, making it 4 letters.

dunno what's the sitch in your school about requiring letters from the med schools, but what i can say is that you just need a simple letter from other authorities there and then submit it afterwards.

btw, your 3 letters from your professors is enough to complete your requirements regarding good moral character to UERM. UERM only needs 2 letters from former professors. 🙂
