cGPA 3.28, sGPA 3.04, MCAT 26 with 30+ after retake; chances???

cGPA: 3.28
sGPA: 3.04
MCAT: 26, retaking in September and hoping to break a 30

Finishing up my Master's with a research thesis in Molecular Biology with a 3.87 GPA in December.

Lots of community service ECs and leadership roles during my UG; volunteered in various hospitals and is currently shadowing a pediatrician.

Where would I have a good chance at being accepted, preferably on the West Coast?

My first and only DO choice (right now) is ATSU simply because I would have the chance to do my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year in Hawaii where my family is. Are there other DO schools that have Hawaii partnerships that I could consider?

The sGPA is a bit low, probably to low for my school, but if you can indeed score a 30 on the re-take, and apply broadly, you should be OK for most programs. Don't know of any that have HI partnerships.

SOMA has some of their students go to their HI clinical spot from year two (or so I've heard).

Yes the OP mentioned it. They move to the CHC just before year 2.
