Worked as a medical scribe for 8 months, this was cut short as my family was struggling financially so I took up a job as a food runner at a restaurant and they offered me a management position. Continued in the company and eventually got promoted to Vice President of Operations, annual revenue is over 100 M.

My families doing better now so I recently resigned from my job and am back to pursuing becoming a physician! Because I am 5 years removed from UG and wanting to better my overall profile during my first time applying I have chosen not to apply this round and will seek out a SMP/Post Grad Program. Another reason I want to attend a SMP is I want to be a great physician and I think refreshing myself with a few classes will lay down a better foundation going into medical school.

1. How am I looking?
2. What MCAT score would I be looking to at least reach? Just as a reference 🙂

Thank you for you time in advance!

If your MCAT is 508 then you have a 50% chance for a MD acceptance.

Thanks for the response Faha, would you recommend any areas of improvement?

@Goro I would appreciate a chime in if you had the time! 🙂

Chances best at your state MD schools and with DO. Successful reinventors tend to have MCATs > 513

In terms of my ECs anything that you would suggest?
