I go to a school with an integrated I6 program. I have done research with one of the heads in the field at my school. He mainly does research now and doesn't do a ton of cases anymore. I am confident I can get a good letter from him. I plan on rotating through Cardiac surg during my 3rd year surgical rotation to get to know the people in the department. My step 1 score is a 252. I am an MSIII. Just wondering if anyone has any input on my shot at an I6 CT program. I know they are very competitive. I have research in the department but no publications. I have done a couple presentations but not at major national meetings. I did well my first two years with A's in all my classes and Honors in two classes. Thanks for the input.
