Hello!

I graduated undergrad about 2 years ago and have been working in research since. I have decided I really want to pursue becoming a physician, and am more interested in DO. My ug gpa is low- between 2.8-2.9 and my MCAT is a 27Q. I do have extensive research experience including publications and have plenty of shadowing/clinical volunteering in US and abroad. Any chance at getting into DO schools? Where should I go from here? I have been looking at SMP programs, but can't seem to figure out if they are legit or not. Any advice on which ones to apply to or if it is worth it would be appreciated as well!

Thanks!!!!

Depending on your state of residence you might have a shot at less competitive schools like WCU and KYCOM as well.
