Hi all! I'm wondering what are my chances of getting into a UC med school this application cycle. I'm a junior at UCSD and graduating this year. Stats are cGPA 3.97, sGPA 4.0 and 33Q (12 PS/ 9 V/ 12 BS).

For EC I have 100+ shadowing, 100+ hospital volunteering, currently working in a gastroenterology lab. I've been on a medical trip to Honduras last spring break. Along with this I am part of a couple on campus volunteering organizations including habitat for humanity and I am been on the club tennis team for 3 years. I have also been a TA for two bio classes.

I did apply really late though, early October because I took the MCAT early september. I have received secondaries for ucla, ucsd, uci, usc(These are the only ones I applied to in california). Thanks for any input!

I'd say chances are excellent for all of them, except maybe UCSF, which I hear can be fussy. They may look down their noses at your 9V. UCSD, maybe so as well. Take a crack at Stanford too.
