My stats are :
NBDE I 89 (july 2008)
Toefl 107
GPA 4
1 paper publication
6 months of practice in India

Wat are my chances of getting admission this year in dental school?

Should I give NBDE part 2?

hi..nbde is on slightly lower side..but u have lot of exp..6 years and then os assistant..i guess u should aply and just se how it goes..exp an cover for the less nbde score..

If you ca get the gold medal then you can also score well in NBDE...and get into a very good school...apply to all the schools and retake the exam again...

5 years of postdoctoral research experience in a decent dental school here.
Over 5 journal papers on dental research as the first author.
Recommendation letters from my advisor who is a famous professor in dental research field.


Applied to UCLA, USC, UCSF, UoP, UPenn, UT SA and UMich

So far no news heard except several mails notifying the completion of my application. I'm really worried. Do I still have chance? I think my part I score is a bit low.
