My G.P.A. is 3.34, science is 3.6 after taking 2 chem, 5 bio, and 1 o chem course. I still have yet to take microbio, o chem II, and 3 other bio courses to finish my degree so I suspect it will probably drop to the 3.25 range.
I have a W in Organic chem which I retook and got a B, and a D+ the first time I took chem II, but I raised it to a B. I explained these poor grades in my personal statement. I was severely depressed when I received the poor grades, and they can see major improvement over the past 1.5 years.
Haven't taken PCAT yet, but suspect I will get 50+ composite.
Average Statement of purpose letter
3,000 hours in extracurriculars/work experience over the past 5 years.
2 professor recommendations (maybe 3, waiting to hear back) and one strong boss recommendation.
I only have 5 hours of shadowing a pharmacist and I attended open house to UK pharmacy, workshops there, and 3 pre-pharm meetings. I'm only adding this because their student affairs advisor said it's worth mentioning on their supplement.
I'm applying early decision to U.K. I'm a KY resident and it's my top choice.
