I just took my DAT and applying for 2007 cycle. I made a 20TS/20AA/18PAT and was wondering if it is good enough to get in somewhere. My GPA is not that great, its 3.1-overall and 3.4-sci, but I have been showing improvement. I have only gotten 1-"B" in last 3 semester and all "A". I would like to go to case western, BU, or UMD. Do you guys think I have any chances of getting in somewhere!? If not, should I retake the DAT?

Your DAT scores are pretty good and I wouldn't retake them. Just apply early and you have a decent chance. My scores were similar to yours and I got in. 🙂

YES, you do have a chance of getting in 'somewhere'. However, repeating your DAT and getting higher than 21 all across would greatly increase the list of places you would get in.

But if you dont care where you get into, and are willing to move... You should be fine if you apply early

Yeah you have a good chance of getting into case. You have to apply early though, like around June 1. I applied on June 1 interviewed early october and got in with 18AA/19TS/17Pat and sci and bcp and 3.77. so you should be alright. I do know other people at my school and here on sdn that applied later with way better stats that didnt get in. SO APPLY EARLY. I dont have any info to give you on UMD though sorry and good luck. Congrats on doing awesome on your DAT.

Thanks for ur opinion, really appreciate it. Since my gpa is not that high(3.1 overall and 3.4-sci), will that effect me greatly or i should be okay if I apply early

You should be OK. You got a 20 on the DAT. Just relax, submit your aadsas application early and you will be accepted on December 1. Most schools would prefer a higher DAT score to a higher GPA score in my opinion.
