Oh... my bad
abmand~
Lets look at the goods vs bads in your application:
Goods
-good GPA
-great exposure to the field
-father being donating alumni (Like Harvey Dent says "can't hurt your chances")
Bads
-18 AA isn't too bad, but you've taken the test 3 times, they will see that and think you should have improved, But in my opinion, I don't think its an application killer
Improvements
If your working right now, I say quit your job and try to 4.0 every course your taking. Remember, GPA upward trend has its weight in gold, so since I don't think you should ever retake your DAT again, the only thing that can REALLY improve your changes is to improve that GPA. Obviously I am lookin at worse case scenario here (that being = they reject you this year), if you wanna have a stronger chance for next cycle, from this day on, try to 4.0 all your courses.
Another thing you can do is to write a KILLER, I mean, the stuff of legends personal statement, tell them how you've always been in love with this profession since the age of 14 and blah blah blah (I am not a good writter, I hope you are).
Good luck to you
