i applied last year, kinda late(file complete in Jan) to several DO schools and i got some interviews but rejected. my Gprs is low at 3.0 and my MCATs a 27p (9 8 10). i think if i apply early this year i should have a decent chance(i have plenty of volunteer, hospital experience yada yada yada). ive been working in a lab for a year and will have a few publications before im done. in my latest publication im a co-author along with a very highly regarded neurologist and human geneticist. does this give me any advantage?? how much does this sort of thing enhance an application? and also should i change my personal statement from last years?
thank you.
