Changing interview dates!!??

Hi all,
I have been lucky to get quite a few interviews. The last couple interview invites I have changed the dates in order to keep up with school and to travel less. Does everyone usually accept the interview dates they get, or do you guys change the dates for your convenience? Over the phone it seems like the staff is displeased when I ask to change a date. What do you think?

I changed two of my interview dates without issue. They recognize that you have a life, and may have a hard time fitting it into your schedule. Both the schools I changed my date at have accepted me, so take that for what it's worth.

I should also note, though, that one school I interviewed at wouldn't let me change my interview date. I called up to see if it was possible, and the lady asked me why I wanted to change it. I told her that we were short-handed at work, that our schedule for that month had already been released, and that it would be difficult for me to get that day off. She told me that unless I was traveling, they wouldn't let me reschedule, so I'd just have to work something out.
