I searched for this topic, so feel free to shame me if it's been posted/answered recently.
I recently figured out that one of my relatives is going to help me out a bit with the tuition in my first year of school. I accepted, earlier this summer, the total cost of attendance that was given to me, but isn't scheduled to be disbursed until a week from now.
I was wondering, is it possible to somehow change the amount that is going to be disbursed for the first semester, so that I can avoid paying interest on that money by just paying cash for the first tuition bill? Is this something I would do through DirectLoans, or through my school's financial aid office?
