Hi,
I have F2 visa and I have to change it to F1 to begin my studied in advanced standing, but as you know we have to prove that we will get back home after our studies for F1 visa approval.

this program (DDS) actually proves that I'm planing to stay in US!!!!
how can I explain it to the USCIS or embassy so that they approve my change of status?

has any one here the same problem or the same experience?
please, please help me, I'm so confused and afraid!

relax mate,it doesnt prove you will stay here.it just gives you american and canadian(and probably lots more) accredited degree.if you can prove you can pay for your school i dont think there will be a problem.

Does it really? 😀 [No it doesn't. Doing DDS does NOT automatically qualify a candidate to practice in the US. One has to pass state boards as well in order to do so. But you know this already]
Actually some people do go back to their home country post DDS/DMD. I know of 1 such Dr.

Anyway..don't worry now only. Once you are given acceptance from a school, their International Student Office will help you file the necessary papers. Then see what happens. There are more students than you know in the same boat ok?😀

I'm also in the same situation n will be going to India to renew my F1 visa, changing from a Master's program to Adv. Prosthodontics. Would it create any problems in showing my non immigrant intent?
