Thats right, I forgot about that. They send your file to UCLA Geffen if you are accepted to Drew. Looks like there will be definite acceptances! Good luck!

I highly doubt that would happen. Drew has been accepting kids for over years, and I'm sure they know what the basic criteria are, and to spot red-flags.

from my talk with norma yesterday it seems that they already reviewed us... well she said mine was reviewed but i'm assuming all of us now... i'm confused elastase doesn't drew give everything to ucla regardless if they are rejections/waitlists/acceptances???

i don't know if OCguy accepted drew's invitation... if that is the case i believe drew most likely has 1/2 of its seats open (best case scenario)...

i called today and norma said that they have finished reviewing all applicants, but they are still waiting for some files that are incomplete...then, they will come up with a list for waitlist, acceptance, rejection...so she said, i might hear from them in 2-3 weeks...she also mentioned about may 15th...SO my guess is if one is accepted, that person should hear maybe by next week??? in case this person rejects the offer, then they can go to the next person and the next and the next before may 15th??? or norma just overestimated the time and notices will actually be sent out next week??? i dunno...well, hope this helps...

i know that drew's waitlist goes by pretty fast (i know this from a friend of mine who was accepted and then turned it down and then he changed his mind but when he called them back that same day they already gave his spot away... long story lol)... but anyways... norma told me that i would hear next week... so i assumed that everyone here on this thread who hasn't heard a decision will hear next week too... now if you are in the waitlist most likely you will find out after next week or even next week it all depends on how fast the turn around is for people who decline the spot...

now that is my guess... but i really doubt that the people who hasn't heard a decision yet has to wait until may 15th (best case scenario right???)

shoot i'm getting drewitis really bad ... but lets hang in there guys...!!!

Why wait until May 15th? Tell them to withdraw now so that others can make it to second look weekend! Hmm... anybody have any guess as to when the February interviewees will hear results? I heard early next week (from a post on this thread) I am guessing Tuesday.

OH man FLOP you crack me up.... ironically i'm like you... i couldn't even enjoy my weekend because I would wake up with sweat on my face thinking that I may get accepted this week!!!!!!!!! I hope I get an acceptance or a rejection because at this point a waitlist would just drive me over the edge. I can't imagine playing this waiting game any longer. I need to know where I am going to live next year. For crying out loud, I applied TEN months ago. I mean, we can get a Supreme Court Justice in like 2 months. Maybe I should have applied for that job too. What kind of an MCAT score do you need to be a Supreme?

SDN is the only thing that helps with some of the symptoms of drewitis. Unfortunately, this cure is also addicting.

OK.. lets think good news here. The good news is we aren't rejected yet. The good news is NONE of us from February or beyond have actually heard anything - suggesting that there is still hope. Second look weekend is in like (yikes) 4 days, so you would think they would tell people SOON so that they could make travel plans - no?

Hmm - maybe they are INTENTIONALLY not going to tell us until AFTER second look weekend. By doing that, they will save money on food and drinks. They also won't have to vacuum or dust or get the place all spiffy for guests. I mean, haven't you ever thrown a party and then just not told people about it so that you didn't have to have a bunch of moochers eating your stuff and spilling drinks on your couch?

No phone call this afternoon (the afternoon isn't over yet). Is anybody planning on calling this week to get a more updated timeline? If we are fortunate enough to get an acceptance, we will be crunching to get travel arrangements in place to go to second look if we don't get word soon.

I'm here... still reading the posts... I'm just... really down... I've never been so emotionally drained. I was hungry so I thought crab (one of my favorite foods) would satisfy my appetite and also make me feel better... so I took a 2 hour break from SDN to go to Red Lobster. It was good, but it was only a temporary departure from the emotional rollercoaster.

Hey guys, I've been reading this forum for a while but haven't posted before. I interviewed on Feb 12th (only interviewee that day) and my file was reviewed the same day because it was a Thursday. I was put on the waitlist a month later and have been on the waitlist since. I got a call from Norma today, BUT it was just to let me know she found a letter that had been missing for a month (real downer during lunch when i saw the area code).

It sucks that everyone who interviewed after Feb 14 has been waiting for so long, but from what I've heard from Norma I think they are waiting to hear back from their accepted students and more notification will go out around May 15th (whether that's before or after I don't know, but I think that's when we should start hearing).

I've definitely gotten conflicting dates from the admissions office during the past few months, so now I'm just giving up on the guesswork and waiting to see what happens. I feel everyone's Drewitis, just hang in there. 👍

Hmmm - by definition, isn't "early next week" either a Monday or a Tuesday? I mean, Wednesday would be "middle of next week" and Thursday and Friday would be "late next week" so shouldn't we hear something like uhmm... today?
