Cheap Hotels near the Atlanta Step 2 CS site

Hi all,

Happy New Year!! Anyone know of any cheap hotels near the step 2 cs atlanta site? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think the test center is near the airport so there are a lot of hotels in the area.

Really close: (less than 2 miles)
ramada - $64
Ho Jo- 55
Days inn- 41
Holiday inn-124

Kinda close: (few miles)
Best western- 81
Marriott ( fairfield)- 95

A previous poster mentioned a place called Country Inn & Suites Atlanta Airport South that is located on the same street as the testing center, just a five minute walk away. Free breakfast and shuttle to & from the airport.

It's $60 + tax if you ask for the Step 2 discount. (Bizarrely, I e-mailed for a reservation and got two replies, one telling me $60 and the other $65. I only e-mailed a confirmation response to the cheaper one.) Here's their e-mail reservation address: [email protected]

Haven't been there yet, so I can't speak for its quality, but it sounds like a good enough deal.

I hear there is also an Econo Lodge that is a few miles away, but offers free airport transportation and free breakfast, free coffee and is only $38.70/night (if you book on the internet) and approx $43-44/night if you pay the regular rate-- either way a GREAT deal!!
