Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, and I've never done this before, but I'm at work and I'm bored, so I'd really appreciate any help. 2 Questions:

1. How do I find the pressure of water at different temperatures? I'm trying to find the pressure at 98 degrees celcius.

2. Here's the actual question: The vapor pressure of a mixture of 1.5 mol each of A, B, and C at 50 degrees Celcius is 100, 200, and 300 mmHg respectively. WHat pressure must be exerted on the surface of a solution for boiling to begin at 50 degrees celcius?

1. There should be a chart in your chem book, if not search for one online.

2. Boiling begins when the vapor pressure of the gas equates with the vapor pressure of the atmosphere. Assuming an immiscible mixture with no synergistic or diminishing effects, it will be 600 since thats the sum of the partial pressures of ABC combined.
