Here is a question for all you guys:

I had some wine that was spilled on my counter last night. This morning, I went to clean it up with Formula 409 and the dark red turned to a greenish/blue reaction. Do any of you know what oxidized? The sulfite in the wine maybe? Just out of curiosity! 🙂

geez, south...pharmacists don't know anything about chemistry!! 😀 😛 (hee, j/k. actually just me)

you know, when i clean off the my grean (cilantro based w/ lots of spices) sauce from my counter w/409, it turns red. 409's very cool. 😎

I just thought it would be neat to figure out why...I think it has something to do with the sulfites in wine though!

yeah, it would be neat to figure out why. you know more about it than i do.

Maybe it's the Tannic acid undergoing some acid/base reaction.
I believe it is the Tannic acid that gives wine it's red color, also acid base reactions are usually highly colored. Maybe there is a strong lewis base or something in the 409
