Anybody following? Magnus and Fabiano played all 12 games... all draws. Gone the days of breathtaking wins and crazy blunders? Did Fabiano out-prepare Magnus? At that level, are we just always gonna see draws now? Should the world championship go over 24 games so the players are willing to take more risk/get tired enough so that mistakes happen? What's your take on it? And... who's gonna win the tiebreaker tomorrow?

Is chess on tv? Do people watch a chess match? Is there tailgating involved (if so, count me in)?

There is always the Air Guitar World Championship!!! Probably not as much thought as chess, but somehow, maybe more.

People actually spend tens of thousands for coaching and chess tournaments.

Watching Dr Drunkenstein play speed chess online is entertaining, especially if he's drinking.

Caruana is going to get pummeled in the shorter time formats.

But the 12 games of this championship were not good ones. I didn't watch them live, just the agadmator summaries on YouTube. Pretty lame, even sped up.
