Does anybody have the interviewed/accepted numbers for U. Chicago?

I do not, though I hear the ratio is a whole lot closer to 1 than it is at most places. Did you get the formal invite by email, by the way?

This is the best I could find, at least in the five minutes I was willing to devote to this problem: http://www.mdphds.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=138

That's an unofficial review by someone who posted in the spring of 2006. He (or she) claims that, at that time, the numbers were: 400-500 Applicants, ~25 Interviews, 10-12 Students target, which figures to something like a 90% acceptance rate.

So congratulations. Hopefully I'll hear from them next week.

Wow I'm glad I didn't turn in that secondary!!

But I sure wish Northwestern would give me an interview...

Really? I actually like that system. They don't waste your time by dragging you across the country for an interview, only to reject you (well, most of the time, assuming they still have the same system in place).

Northwestern was very nice. I hope they do give you an interview.
