Hi,
I am in the process of selecting courses to take at night to pad up the ol gpa and bcmp gpa.
I am finiding lots of great science courses from UCBextension but there are a bunch of them that sound similar to classes I took at UCSB during undergrad.
For example:
The biology of human cancer (UCB) vs. Oncogenesis and Cell Growth (UCSB)
The biology of cancer (UCB) vs. *same as above*
Principles and Techniques of Molecular Cell Biology (UCB) vs. Biochemistry I II or III or Cell Biology (UCSB)
Principles of Molecular Biology (UCB) vs. *same as above*
Any advice? I called UCBextension admissions and they just told me I have to use my common sense. Not exactly the answer I was looking for.
Is there a big problem if I take a course that doubles up on a lot of the material I already learned in a previous class? For credits? For GPA calc? For adcom?
