I got an email yesterday from the person who interviewed me at CHOP, congratulating me on being done with interviews, telling me to email him with any questions i might have about CHOP or help with making my decision, and again telling me how much he enjoyed meeting me and how impressed he was with my application. He also CCed the program director on the email. Has anyone else received a similar email from their interviewer at CHOP? I know a friend of mine also received a similar email (but she's a super-applicant), and i know someone who did not receive one. I'm trying to figure out how much I should read into this email. Anyone who is currently a resident at CHOP have any insight into this?

Curious as to what people expect when they start threads like these. Are you hoping that no one else got the feedback, meaning that you are in really good shape and preferred over there? If this is what you are hoping for, then you should realize most people won't be very forthcoming with the fact that they haven't received any positive feedback... whereas you have.

I think you should just be happy with what you have received and not go digging into finding out what everyone else got from CHOP.

Agree with the others...! Congrats....don't read too much into it and go enjoy your 4th year.🙂
