CHSU vs PNWU

I have been lucky enough to secure acceptances to both CHSU in CA and PNWU in Washington. I'm thinking I want to go into a surgical specialty and I know that I will have to do a significant amount of research during med school to actually match. From what I've heard about PNWU, they don't have much research but their curriculum is P/F, they are more established, and they have matched students into surgical specialties like ortho. CHSU has many resources and connections to get students involved in research and from what I heard during my interview, should have students matching into competitive specialties. Curriculum is letter graded and the school will be fully accredited with the first graduating class this May. I'm also from California and want to return to Cali for residency. Any help deciding would be greatly appreciated as I feel really conflicted.

I went with PNWU but I actually got accepted into Touro Nevada after this post so I'll be going there instead of PNWU!
