Orientation starts on August 7th, classes start on the 13th and white coat ceremony is on the 10th. Good to all of you. Hopefully some of you will end up being a classmate.

BTW, my status page has changed format...the application status is at the top now, and some other stuff is gone. Is this happening to everyone else too?

I click on the MedOneStop Review Application Status 2007 link and I get re-directed to the MedOneStop Home page...

don't know what's going on.

Wierd...

I had to sneak in through the Financial Aid application.

That put me through to the same tabbed interface as before and I was able to get to my applicant status.

My page has been rearranged as well.

apparently there has been little to no waitlist movement at ANY school in ohio thus far in the process--i'm waitlisted at UC, wright state, and ohio state and have heard nothing from anyone except for "the waitlists are moving very slowly"............. which is making me very discouraged too 🙁

I do have to say... this is sounding less and less optimistic.

Esp for OOS applicants.

I've gone ahead and accepted a full-time research job in cincinnati with educational benefits so I can get a master's and apply again next June. If I get in this year cool, if not...whatever, I have a backup plan and will try again next year.

i think there are probably 75-100 people on the waiting list at the moment.
if movement does not start at the top-tier schools then there will be no movement at UCCOM.

Hey everyone, I am applying this year and Cincinnati is my dream school, but my MCAT is a little low: 27 BS-11 VR9 PS7. TGPA 3.8 SGPA:3.7. I am from Ohio.


Do you think I will most likely be waitlisted with these numbers?

Also, if you would not mind, what our your guys' numbers?

Have you tried looking on MDApplicants? It's a website where med school applicants can post their stats, where they're from, and their experiences, and then you can research the stats of applicants, interviewees, waitlisters, and accepted applicants based on these qualifications. Hopefully this will give you the best picture, even if not all of this year's stats are up. Good luck!

Hey everyone, just got an email saying I was rejected from the waitlist. I had been on the waitlist since interviewing but to be honest, have done little to try and get off. I was acepted to Michigan State University College of Human Medicine so that is where I will be going and I couldn't be happier. Good luck everyone

i also got the rejection letter email today.
I was surprised that they made a rejection this early as they would normally wait until classes start.

I heard many people with mid 30 on mcat were also put on the waitlist.
for some reason the pool got a lot better at uccom.
