Hey everyone!
I'm working on the Penn Dental Supplemental application right now. One of the questions asks, What do you think are or will be the greatest challenges facing dentistry ? I talked about limited access to dental care (even though I'm sure 1000 other ppl will talk about that, but i really do belive it is the biggest problem in dentistry). I had to do a little bit of research to make my point more convincing, but I wasnt sure how to cite the sources that I used. Do I even have to cite any sources? If so, how do I go about it?

I do not think you need to cite your sources in a supplemental. If you absolutely must, then perhaps some form of citation in-line would work best, parenthetical citations, to emphasize while paraphrasing or something you could add in an in-text attribution as well if you wanted to.

Harvard style works well for this

Though because you are only answering a short answer question, and the citation thing is kind of an extra, you probably do not need to add a reference list at the end.
