How did everyone find part 1 this year? I thought it was pretty tricky 🙁 Not sure how I did, am just really hoping for a pass..


Anyone else remember how they felt after taking part 1 last year?

I think the test was actually very fair. It wasn't overly specific by any means. Maybe 7-8% of the questions were a little out of the ordinary but the rest were definitely fair optometry questions. The optics was really straightforward. The anatomy wasn't nearly as specific as it could have been. Unless someone from the class of 2010 took the test this year as well as last year I don't think it's realistic to say that they made it more difficult--at the end of the day it wasn't exceptionally difficult--it was just a marathon and I think that's what made it so seemingly tough.
