No, I'm covered through my dad's program potentially until 27 (if I'm in school). But since I'm going out of state I need to ditch it in order to get IS residency/tuition.

So hopefully my good health streak holds up for the next four years:xf:.

YES asthma meds are horribly expensive...TCOM is supposed to have a good primary care clinic that I am looking forward to 🙂

I have a big box full of identifying paperwork that I need to dispose of as well.
 
I think I'm gonna go walk to clear my head.

You know what's somewhat ironic? When I was thinking of going to Baylor it would have been very much in my best interest to marry Mr. Nola. Now that I'm sort-of-daring-to-hope that I will get some aid to go to Cornell, it's pretty clear that it's not in my best interest at ALL to marry Mr. Nola until I graduate medical school (at least not if I attend Cornell).

Haha, that probably sounded a little strange. But what I meant was, I would take out fewer loans at Baylor marrying Mr. Nola vs. getting less aid from Cornell if I married Mr. Nola.

Anyway, either way, I don't think either of us is going to be thinking about getting married till the end of medical school, but it's kind of annoying that medical schools have any sort of financial say in when it's in our best financial interest to get married.

No, I understood what you meant... all I meant was that marriage is a pretty big commitment, and it is scary what a difference it could make at two different places...

I guess in some ways it's good that Cornell makes it so unfavorable for me to get married to him during medical school, because we both really feel the longer we date before marriage the better. Part of the reason I ended up deciding against Baylor is because I didn't think it was fair to put either of us in the position of having to decide whether or not to get married. It's not a fair burden to put on your partner if you can help it.

The little boy I've been praying so hard for finally passed away this morning. :sad:

At least he's had the ultimate healing and will no longer be in pain. Please keep his parents in your prayers/well wishes, as he was the only child and they are beyond brokenhearted.

Yeah, I recently let go of notes too, some that I had even kept from....junior high. I have pack rat issues-but it's all organized and non-messy, I promise ! 🙂

I recently got rid of some of my late jr high/high school notes. haha. I've disposed of most of my undergrad stuff too... I've got a lot more to go through this week while I'm home tho.
 
I got accepted to Howard a few days ago. I was wondering if anyone is lookng for a roomate or know good places/areas to live in while attending Howard.
